Mother’s Day 2027 is Sunday, May 9. In 2026, Bowling Green’s Mother’s Day weekend events were on the Saturday before: a Victorian Tea, a farm market festival and a flea market and food festival. Jackson’s Orchard and Nursery opens for the season in mid-April.

- Jackson’s Orchard and Nursery, 1280 Slim Island Road, sells in-season fruit, vegetables and spring plants. It is open from mid-April to mid-November, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday (Jackson’s Orchard). 270-781-5303.
