Black Friday is Nov. 27, 2026, and Small Business Saturday is Nov. 28. Bowling Green’s big-box shopping sits along Scottsville Road around Greenwood Mall; the independent shops are downtown around Fountain Square Park. The local holiday markets start earlier, with GypsyMoon in the first week of November.

Greenwood Mall hours
Greenwood Mall’s hours page lists regular tenant hours of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday. The mall posts separate holiday and Santa hours on the same page.

Small Business Saturday downtown
Small Business Saturday, Nov. 28, is a national day for shopping at independent stores. Downtown’s independent shops sit around Fountain Square Park and along College and State streets. The visitors bureau’s holiday page points shoppers to stores around the square, including Barbara Stewart Interiors, Candle Makers on the Square and the Pots Place Gallery and Studio, and to Flea Land and Vette City Antique Mall for bargains. No downtown promotion for the day had been announced as of Oct. 16.
