Warren RECC members
Warren RECC’s outage page says its advanced meters usually tell the cooperative your power is out even if you do not call. Report it anyway if you see a line down or a broken pole. Three ways to report:
- App: tap “Report Outage” in the free SmartHub app.
- Text: text wrecc to 85700 to sign up (your cell number must be on file), then text #out to 85700 when your power goes out.
- Call: 270-843-9710 or 888-604-4321. Give your name, address and phone number. In large outages the co-op uses an automated answering system.
Check restoration progress on the Warren RECC outage map; the co-op explains how to read it on its outage map page.
Before and during an outage
Sign up for your utility’s text alerts before a storm, so you can report an outage without waiting on hold. Warren RECC posts preparation and safety advice on its outage tips page and answers common questions on its outage FAQ. Treat every downed line as live, stay away from it and call 911.
Water main breaks and sewer problems
BGMU also runs the city’s water and sewer systems. Report a water main break, a leaking hydrant or low water pressure through the Report a Problem form or call 270-782-1200.
